The following benefits come with being a Borussia member:
- Reduced season-ticket prices for standing-area tickets for the North and South Stands
- A right of first refusal when match tickets go on sale
- A 10% discount on fan merchandise
- A 10% discount on the membership fee for the fan project
- Members aged 18 and over are entitled to attend and vote at the annual general meeting
- The match programme (“Fohlen Echo) is sent to your home ahead of every home game (members aged seven and over only)
- Free admission to youth and amateur team matches (except Regionalliga U23)

Borussia's annual membership fee is:
0–6 years of age: free
7–10 years of age: €30
11–18 years of age: €40
19 and over: €60
The membership fee is calculated from the month you join. This means that adults who become a member on March 1 only have to pay €50.00 for that particular year.
The one-off joining fee for all new members amounts to €5.00. In addition to your membership card you will receive a limited-edition 'welcome gift' that is not on sale in the fan shop.
