On home matchdays: The sports bar normally shuts four-and-a-half hours before kick-off. *As part of events or depending on hotel occupation, the opening hours can be extended accordingly.
Corona requirements and health provisions
Reserve a table beforehand to avoid waiting time and a gathering of people in the reception (+49 2161 9293-1760).
Every guest must register themselves with their name, address and phone number upon arrival.
All guests must wear a face mask in all inside rooms. They can be taken off at the table.
All guests must disinfect their hands before entering the venue – disinfectant will be provided.
All guests will be asked to keep 1.5 metres between them and all staff and other customers, especially in the waiting room and entrance.
The service staff will allocate the tables in order to ensure all tables and chairs are far enough apart at all times.
If possible, avoid paying with cash.
Take note of all signs, notices and requests from the staff.
Breakfast Buffet
Borussia offer a breakfast buffet daily until 10:30 (Monday-Friday) and until 11:00 (Sat-Sun, Public Holidays). It costs 14.50€ (including selected hot drinks and juices/mineral water).
Children under the age of 13 pay 7.25€ and under the age of six can eat for free.
Classic meals available all day like the Borussia-Burger, Sporting salad, Wiener Schnitzel or the “BORUSSIA-PARK” Currywurst, as well as Chicken Curry, Spaghetti with Rocket and many other meals. For those with a lighter appetite, snacks such as Chips, Focaccia and Goulash Soup are also available.
Guests who just want to enjoy a drink can choose from a large drinks menu. Along with Bitburger and Bolten beers on draft, there a number of cold refreshing cocktails available, such as Caipirinha, Mojito and Cubra Libre, as well as Long Drinks like gin and tonic or vodka lemon.

Watching away games
In order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Fohlen sports bar will not be showing Borussia away games until further notice.
Normally, all of Gladbach’s away games will be shown on several screens and TVs. Frank Schiffers presents the game live, with a Borussia quiz, a prediction game with great prizes as well as fan interviews and a half-time talk.
