Conor Noß extends Borussia contract until 2024

Borussia have agreed a new three-year deal with Conor Noß. The 20-year-old academy product has been part of the Foals setup since he was eight.

Borussia have extended Conor Noß’s contract at the club by three years until summer 2024. “We consider Conor one of our young talents that has a great deal of potential. We back him to make the step up to first-team football and are delighted to keep another home-grown product at the club long-term,” said sporting director Max Eberl.

Noß took his first footballing steps at SG Kaarst as a five-year-old. He joined Sportfreunden Vorst 18 months later and took part in a youth tournament in 2009, where he caught the eye of Borussia scouts. After a successful trial, the then eight-year-old joined the FohlenStall academy and has worked his way up through the ranks since U9 level.

36 appearances in the Regionalliga

Noß is still eligible for the U19s, but already got 15 Regionalliga appearances for the U23s under his belt as an 18-year-old in 2019/20. Last season, the technically-gifted attacker featured a further 21 times and scored his first goal for the reserves. Noß has been regularly training with the first team for several months and has already played in a number of friendly matches.

The Ireland U21 international, both in Germany to an Irish mother, is still waiting to make his professional debut, although he has been in the matchday squad on four occasions. “I’m very proud to have been part of Borussia for such a long time. It’s my dream to make it as a first-team player at this club and am working hard to develop further and take my chances when I get them,” said Noß, who has made four appearances for Ireland’s U21s.

Conor Noß has been at Borussia since he was eight years old.
