DFL release timings for a further seven Bundesliga matchdays

DFL released the timings for all of the Bundesliga fixtures between Matchday 7 and Matchday 13 inclusively. Our derby date with 1. FC Köln is set for Saturday, 27th November at 15:30 CET.

With Matchdays 1-6 already scheduled, the DFL have released timings for a further seven matchdays until Matchday 13. For the Foals, five of these games fall on Saturdays, with the remaining two on a Friday and Sunday.  

On Saturday, 2nd October, Borussia are away to VfL Wolfsburg at 15:30 SATURDAY. After the second international break of the season they welcome VfB Stuttgart to BORUSSIA-PARK on Saturday the 16th at 18:30 SATURDAY. The following trip to Hertha will also be played on a Saturday evening (23rd October at 18:30 SATURDAY). Gladbach will then see out the month with a 17:30 CET kick-off at home to newly-promoted VfL Bochum.

The Foals‘ campaign continues on the 5th November with a Friday night game in Mainz before the third international break of the season begins. After this, Borussia face two Saturday 15:30 CET kick-offs in a row: First at home to SpVgg Greuther Fürth (20th November), then away in Cologne (27th November).

Patrick Herrmann to retire from playing in the summer

Patrick Herrmann will retire from playing in the summer after 16 years at Borussia, including 15 as a member of the first team. The 33-year-old will remain at Gladbach in a non-playing capacity.
