Everything you need to know about the Foals’ upcoming Bundesliga trip to SC Freiburg on Saturday afternoon (15:30 CEST).

• SC Freiburg have played their home games at the newly-built Europa-Park Stadion (Photo: DFL/Getty Images/Scheuber) since the autumn of 2021, and the game will be a full house, with all 34,700 tickets sold. Around 3,400 Borussia fans will also be supporting the team at the sold-out stadium.
• There are no Coronavirus regulations or vaccine pass checks in place at the stadium, and there is also no requirement to wear a mask.

• Following 10 points from the four previous games, the Foals had a setback last time out, losing 3-1 at home in the derby against FC Köln.
• Three players have scored 11 out of Borussia’s last 12 Bundesliga goals: Breel Embolo and Alassane Plea have both netted four times, and Marcus Thuram has scored three.
• Freiburg have lost just one of their last nine Bundesliga games, a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of FC Bayern on matchday 28. They have won five and drawn three in that time too.
• Christian Streich’s side are fast starters: they have scored a dozen times in the opening 15 minutes of games this season, a tally which only Bayer 04 Leverkusen have bettered.
• Former Foal Vincenzo Grifo has been involved in five goals in his last five Bundesliga games, scoring two and setting a further three up.
