Netz and Scally nominated for Golden Boy award

The award is handed out each year by Italian magazine Tuttosport to the best player in Europe under the age of 21. Luca Netz and Joe Scally have both been included on the initial list of 100 nominees.

Together with FIFA and more than 30 sports journalists from around Europe, Tuttosport has handed out the award to Europe’s best U21 player since 2003. This year, Luca Netz and Joe Scally have been included on the list of 100 nominees, with a total of 22 players from the Bundesliga being nominated for the award. Last year’s Golden Boy winner was Barcelona midfielder Pedri.
