DFB-POKAL: MATCH FACTS AHEAD OF #FCSBMG

All of the key facts and figures ahead of the DFB-Pokal quarterfinal on Wednesday evening (20:45 CET) between 1. FC Saarbrücken and the Foals.

Borussia sign Philipp Sander from Holstein Kiel

Borussia Mönchengladbach have signed Philipp Sander from newly-promoted Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel. The 26-year-old midfielder moves to VfL ahead of the 2024/25 season and has signed a contract valid until 30th June 2028.

Borussia fall to a heavy defeat in Stuttgart

On Saturday afternoon, the Foals lost 4-0 to second-place side VfB Stuttgart in their final outing of the 2023/24 season, which saw them avoid relegation by a fine margin and finish the campaign in 14th place.
