Everything to know ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga opener against Borussia Dortmund (18:30 CEST).

  • Germany’s 16 states have agreed to a uniform set of rules to govern the return of fans to stadiums. Clubs will be permitted to open their stadiums at a maximum of 20 percent of the seated capacity. There will be around 10,000 fans permitted to attend Saturday’s match at Dortmund’s Signal-Iduna Park.
  • As per the DFL, there will be no standing seats allowed at matches until at least the end of October. There will also be no tickets for away fans.

  • The two sides will meet for the 97th time in the Bundesliga. Dortmund have won 39 of these matches, with 29 ending in favour of the Foals. This fixture has finished in a draw on 28 occasions.
