Borussia launch partnership with OneFootball

Borussia have launched a content partnership with OneFootball, with articles from borussia.com also being promoted on the international football media platform.

Fans of the Foals will now have access to all the latest club news via the well-known media platform OneFootball. All of the editorial content published on borussia.com will now also appear on the world’s largest football media platform’s website and app.

A link has been created between the Foals’ and OneFootball’s content management systems, allowing for quick sharing of articles. “The intention is to reach more people with our content via a well-known and established platform. The partnership with OneFootball won’t just help us reach Borussia fans, but also new, young target audiences across the globe. Our goal is too awake an interest in Gladbach in those people,” said Borussia’s corporate communications director Markus Aretz.

Having begun a cooperation with Dugout last year regarding international video content distribution, Borussia and OneFootball have already been working together since December 2020 when Dugout was acquired by the platform.

OneFootball was founded in 2008 and now reaches more than 85 million people per month worldwide, making it the most popular media platform for football fans. With their own news and video studio, OneFootball provides the younger generation in particular with news, live streaming, live results, match reports and videos in twelve languages. The Berlin-based company also has offices in London, New York, Mexico City, Singapore, Cairo, Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro.
