The Foals will meet the Ukrainian national team in a friendly game at BORUSSIA-PARK on Wednesday 11th May (kick-off time TBC). It will be Ukraine’s first fixture since the outbreak of war in the country, and will serve as preparation for their World Cup playoff and Nations League fixtures at the start of June.

In coordination with the Ukrainian FA, Borussia will donate all profits from the match to charitable causes for people in or from Ukraine. “We’re very happy to be able to help the Ukrainian FA through this game, and hope that as many football fans as possible from all over the country come to the stadium and make a donation to a good cause by buying a ticket to the match. All Ukrainian citizens will have free entry to the game,” said Borussia’s chief executive, Stephan Schippers.

The Ukrainian national team will be at a training camp from May 2nd in Ljubljana, Slovenia. From May 10th to 12th, they will be guests of Borussia in Mönchengladbach, staying at the H-Hotel in BORUSSIA-PARK and training at the club’s training ground.
