Maximum capacity 59,724

BORUSSIA-PARK has a maximum capacity of 59,724. The escape routes, toilet facilities, kiosks and car parking spaces are designed to cater for this number of spectators.

However, there is a limit for Bundesliga games of “just” 54,010 spectators. The capacity is reduced by nearly 6,000 due to the redesign of the South Stand (with the exception of the away section in Block 6), which is now an all-seater stand. But the way BORUSSIA-PARK is built makes it possible to use the South Stand for standing supporters in the same way as the North Stand.

BORUSSIA-PARK has a capacity of 46,279 (all seated) for European games. The blocks in the lower tier of the North Stand are fitted with seats for these games.
