BORUSSIA-PARK in the North Park

BORUSSIA-PARK is situated in the west of Mönchengladbach between the suburbs of Holt and Rheindahlen. The centre point of the “Area of Sport”, established in the “North Park” on Gladbacher Straße, is Borussia’s stadium on its own site. The HockeyPark, home to the German Hockey Association, is immediately next to the football club.

North Park is the northern section of a former military base, which was, until recently, used by the British Rhine Army. The area south of Gladbacher Straße is called South Park and the British Army still has a presence there today.

BORUSSIA-PARK covers an area of 264,000 m², containing the new stadium, the administration building at Hennes-Weisweiler-Allee 1, the training ground and the club’s car parks.
