André Schubert has been made permanent manager of the Fohlenelf. The 44-year-old former player has signed a contract until 2017 with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Schubert became the U23 coach on 21st September, but after the resignation of Lucien Favre, took over as interim manager. "André has done an incredible job in the last eight weeks and produced amazing results for the club. We have had extensive talks in the last few days and we know that our team is in good hands. We therefore decided to give him a new contract," said Borussia’s sporting director Max Eberl.
