Borussia Mönchengladbach have signed France U18 international Mickaël Cuisance for the upcoming season.
The 17-year-old centre-midfielder arrives from AC Nancy-Lorraine in a deal that will keep him at the club until 2022. “MickaëlCuisance is a huge talent who is very versatile in midfield. We’ve been watching him for a long time now. The market for top talents in Europe is highly competitive so we are all the more pleased that he will be adding to the work we are doing and that we have signed such a promising player who will be taking the next steps in his development here,” said Borussia sporting director Max Eberl. Cuisance had been playing for the Nancy U19s and has come through all the youth teams for France since U16 level. In total he has made 34 international appearances and scored four goals for his country.
