The Fohlenelf began preparation for this Saturday’s (15:30) home match against Hannover 96 on Tuesday.
The team were on the training pitch for a good one-and-a-half hours this afternoon, playing on a small pitch with six goals set up around it. Kwame Yeboah was back in training too after his time out with injury, though Jonas Hofmann missed out with a muscle issue. Raul Bobadilla trained individually, joined for parts by Ibrahima Traoré who is recovering from a torn thigh muscle.
Vincenzo Grifo is slowly working his way back to full training after a knee injury. Yann Sommer will also take part in the afternoon session. He’s also recovering from a knee problem and will begin goalkeeper training today.
The Fohlenelf’s next training session after today is pencilled in for 10:00 and then for 15:30 CEST on Thursday. The final training session before Saturday’s match is an open training session on Friday.
