On Wednesday morning, the Foals began their preparations for Sunday’s trip to RB Leipzig. Borussia head coach Dieter Hecking led a session with most of his squad, although three players were absent with injury while several youngsters were rested after featuring in a friendly against Roda Kerkrade.
Jonas Hofmann is currently unable to train due to a hip injury while Matthias Ginter had an operation on his eye socket and jawbone yesterday. Mamadou Doucouré is still recuperating from his torn thigh muscle while Christoph Kramer completed a running session as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
The Foals have four more training sessions ahead of them before the Bundesliga clash in Leipzig on Sunday (15:30 CET). Borussia will train again this afternoon before further sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
