The Foals began their preparation for Saturday’s away game at Hannover 96 (15:30 CEST) on Wednesday morning. Ibrahima Traoré was back in first-team training.
The training session on Wednesday morning lasted around 80 minutes, with 21 outfielders and three goalkeepers taking pass in various drills. Ibrahima Traoré completed a full training session for the first since picking up a groin injury. “We’re pleased that Ibo is back with us,” said assistant coach Dirk Bremser. Michael Lang (muscular problem in the hip region) and Andreas Poulsen (ankle injury) trained individually, while Mamadou Doucouré (thigh) was missing altogether.
“We want to build on the Bremen game”
Borussia’s next game in the battle for Europe comes on Saturday (15:30 CEST) away at bottom of the league Hannover 96. “We want to build on our performance against Bremen and take all three points in Hannover. However, I expect them to fight really hard, as they desperately need the win to strengthen their chances of survival,” commented Bremser. The Foals will train behind closed doors on Thursday, before their final session on Friday at 12:30 CEST.
