Thorgan Hazard will leave Borussia after five seasons to sign for Borussia Dortmund.
Hazard first signed for Gladbach in 2014 on loan from Chelsea, before signing on a permanent basis in February 2015. He made 182 competitive appearances for Borussia (147 in the Bundesliga, 10 in the Champions League, eleven in the Europa League and 14 in the DFB-Pokal) and scored 46 goals, as well making 45 for his teammates. In his first season at Borussia, he scored five times and laid on ten goals in 41 appearances. His second campaign saw him play 36 times, score six goals and create ten again. In the 2016/17 season, he played 33 times and bagged eleven goals and assists respectively. Last season he scored on eleven occasions and registered nine assists. This season saw him score 13 times in 35 games – also adding 13 assists. Borussia would like to wish Thorgan Hazard all the best for his future.
