The Foals started their short training week on Wednesday with a heavily reduced squad.
Coach Marco Rose is lacking in a lot of his players during the international break. In addition to goalkeepers Tobias Sippel and Max Grün, only Mamadou Doucouré, Oscar Wendt, Tony Jantschke, Christoph Kramer, Florian Neuhaus, Patrick Herrmann, Marcus Thuram, Raffael, Lars Stindl and U23 player Charalambos Makridis will participate. Jordan Beyer, who had to cancel his participation in the U20 internationals, today completed the first part of the training session with the team before moving on to individual work with athletic trainer Quirin Löppert.

Yann Sommer, Nico Elvedi, Denis Zakaria and Breel Embolo (all Switzerland), Alassane Plea (France), László Bénes (Slovakia), Ramy Bensebaini (Algeria) and Andreas Poulsen (U21 / Denmark) are traveling with their respective national teams.
