Eight Foals called up for international duty
Matthias Ginter and Germany will play a EURO qualifier at the BORUSSIA-PARK.

Several Gladbach players have been nominated for their respective national teams.

Ginter and Germany at the BORUSSIA-PARK

Head coach Joachim Löw has named Matthias Ginter to Germany’s squad as they get set to take part in their final two EURO qualifiers. First up is Belarus on Saturday, 16th November (20:45 CET) in BORUSSIA-PARK. Three days later, Germany will face Northern Ireland in Frankfurt on Tuesday, 19th November (20:45 CET).

Trio of Foals in Swiss squad

Yann Sommer, Nico Elvedi and Denis Zakaria are the three Foals that have been called up to play for the Swiss ‘Nati’ in their EURO qualifiers during the upcoming international break. The Swiss will face Georgia on Friday, 15th November (20:45 CET in St. Gallen) before playing Gibraltar on Monday, 18th November (18:00 CET).

Lainer away with Austria

Stefan Lainer has been nominated for Austria’s squad as they get set to play two EURO qualifiers. First, the Austrians will face North Macedonia on Saturday, 16th November (20:45 CET in Vienna) before meeting with Latvia on Tuesday, 19th November (20:45 CET in Riga).

Bénes called up for Slovakia

Slovakia’s head coach Pavel Hapal has nominated László Bénes for both of his side’s upcoming EURO qualifiers. First up is a game against Croatia on Saturday, 16th November (20:45 CET in Rijeka), before they head to face Azerbaijan on Tuesday, 19th November (20:45 CET in Trnava).

Bensebaini gets the nod from Algeria

Algeria and Ramy Bensebaini will kick-start their qualification campaign ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. The team will face Zambia on Thursday, 14th November (in Algiers), before the defending champions face Botswana on Monday, 18th November in Gaborone.

Poulsen to feature with Denmark’s U21s again

Head coach Albert Capellas has once again nominated Andreas Poulsen for the Denmark U21s. The Scandinavians will play two EURO qualifiers: one against Ukraine on Friday, 15th November (17:30 CET in Lviv) and another against Malta on Tuesday, 19th November (18:00 CET in Aalborg).
