Borussia Mönchengladbach will hold their first pre-season training session from 11:00 CEST on Tuesday, as preparations for the 2020/21 campaign begin.
The Foals are returning to the pitch this week, with Marco Rose’s side beginning their 2020/21 pre-season preparations on Tuesday. The head coach will welcome his players to the training ground outside BORUSSIA-PARK from 11:00 CEST for their first training session following a five-week summer break. Spectators will be allowed back to the training complex for public sessions, with a maximum of 300 visitors allowed as per current government regulations regarding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Fans who wish to watch the Foals return to action on Tuesday or at any other public session can print out free tickets via our homepage starting Monday. These tickets will allow access to the training ground for the specified day upon presentation of formal identification. Fans without tickets are asked not to visit the complex. Attending a public session requires visitors to wear a mask throughout the entire training ground.
Close contact still forbidden
As the players, coaches and staff will continue to follow the hygiene and contact regulations set out by the DFL, close contact between them and fans is still not possible. “We’re very happy to be able to welcome our fans back to the training ground,” said sporting director Max Eberl, “but we ask for their understanding that selfies and autographs are unfortunately not possible.” Fans can enter the training ground through Gate 1 at the P1 car park, where parking is free.
Before the Foals return to action on Tuesday, there will be further Covid-19 tests, with all of the players, coaches and staff set to undergo two tests for the coronavirus. There will also be fitness and performance tests on the agenda for the players, as well as routine medical tests.
