Breel Embolo handed heavy fine

Borussia have handed striker Breel Embolo a heavy fine after he broke coronavirus regulations following the Stuttgart game.

“Breel's inconsiderate and wrong actions on the night of our Bundesliga game in Stuttgart broke regulations that are in place for every single person in this country, and following them for us as a Bundesliga club is mandatory in order for football to be able to take place,” said Borussia sporting director Max Eberl. “We have therefore decided that he must pay a substantial fine. We have informed him of this and he has accepted the punishment.”
