Sonepar and Borussia partnership to continue

Borussia Mönchengladbach have agreed to continue the sleeve and innovation partnership with electronics wholesaler Sonepar.

“Sonepar and Borussia have had a close, trusting relationship for almost ten years now,” said Guido Uhle, authorised signatory and director of sponsorship for Borussia. Sonepar have sponsored BORUSSIA-PARK boxes since 2012, before becoming an innovation partner in 2019. Over the last year, the Sonepar logo has also appeared as the sleeve sponsor on the Foals’ shirts. “Our co-operation has grown over the years. That has been aided by the fact that Sonepar share many of Borussia’s values: both are really ambitious, humble and well-natured,” said Uhle. “We are really happy to continue down this path and that there will be another chapter in the story of our co-operation.”

“Borussia and Sonepar stand for continuity and sustainable success, so we are delighted to continue the good work that we’ve done together,” said Dr. Stefan Stegemann, Sonepar’s president for Central and Nordic Europe. The Sonepar Group is a global, family-owned electronics wholesaler. They serve their electrical-trade, industry and commerce customers across Germany via their online shop and in over 200 physical outlets. Sonepar prioritise individualised service and logistics for their customers, as well as providing high-quality electronics and systems solutions for their partners.
