Stindl out of action with knee ligament strain

The Foals will be without Lars Stindl for the remainder of their time at the Harsewinkel-Marienfeld training camp, after the captain sustained a knee ligament strain.

Lars Stindl, who will continue to captain Borussia during the 2021/22 season, has strained a ligament in his knee, as diagnosed following an MRI scan on Tuesday. The 32-year-old will therefore be sitting out the team training sessions at the camp in Harsewinkel-Marienfeld. Stindl will also miss this Saturday’s friendly against FC Metz, but will start returning to normal training over the course of the following week.
