Joe Scally joins the UNIBET FohlenPodcast!

The 42nd episode of the “UNIBET FohlenPodcast – Der Talk” is now available. In the first ever English installment, stadium announcer Torsten “Knippi” Knippertz chats with Borussia defender Joe Scally.

As usual, the first day of the month brings with it a new episode of the “UNIBET FohlenPodcast – Der Talk”. And this episode, the 42nd in all, is a bit special as it is the first podcast ever released in English. Stadium announcer Torsten „Knippi“ Knippertz plays host to Joe Scally, who took some time out just before Christmas to discuss his first year as a Borussia player. English works best for the US youth international and Scally also explains what has surprised him about the language since he arrived in Germany.

The youngster from Lake Grove, New York talks about how he ended up playing “soccer” in a country dominated by the more popular sports of basketball, baseball, American football and ice hockey. The defender also explains how he made his first steps into European football before a quick game of “This or That?” to help you get to know Scally off the pitch.

Scally tells us all about his prom night as well as discussing his hopes for the year ahead. Tune in to hear it all!
