Patrick Herrmann to retire from playing in the summer
Patrick Herrmann will retire from playing in the summer after 16 years at Borussia, including 15 as a member of the first team. The 33-year-old will remain at Gladbach in a non-playing capacity.
Max Eberl leaves Borussia
Max Eberl has requested to step down immediately from his role as sporting director of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Club president Rolf Königs, vice president Rainer Bonhof, chief executive Stephan Schippers and Max Eberl spoke at a press conference at BORUSSIA-PARK on Friday afternoon, confirming that Max Eberl had requested to leave his role as sporting director immediately and that he would be leaving the club.
