Yann Sommer, Jonas Hofmann, Alassane Plea, Breel Embolo or Manu Koné – which of these five players will become Borussia’s Player of the Season to follow in captain Lars Stindl’s footsteps from last year. Fans can select their winner on the FohlenApp right now.

Four of those five were named as Player of the Month on at least one occasion by the fans. Goalkeeper Yann Sommer even won the award three times across 2021/22 (December, January and April). Jonas Hofmann was a two-time winner (November and May), whilst Breel Embolo was voted as POTM in October.
