DFL announces dates and times of Bundesliga matchdays 8 and 9

The DFL announced the dates and times for Bundesliga matchdays 8 and 9 on Thursday. Borussia will travel to Bremen on Saturday evening and take on Köln on Sunday afternoon.

The exact timings of the opening 7 matchdays had already been announced, and the DFL has now added two extra dates for the diary, announcing the scheduling for the two matchdays after the international break at the beginning of October.

The away trip to SV Werder Bremen will take place on Saturday 1st October at 18:30 CEST, before the home derby against 1. FC Köln on Sunday 9th October at 15:30 CEST.

  • Matchday 5: Borussia – 1. FSV Mainz 05 (Sunday, 4th September, 17:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 5: SC Freiburg – Borussia (Sunday, 11th September, 17:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 7: Borussia – RB Leipzig (Samstag, 17th September, 18:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 8: Werder Bremen – Borussia (Samstag, 1st October, 18:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 9: Borussia – 1. FC Köln (Sunday, 9th October, 15:30 CEST)
