Borussia rescue late draw in Bremen
Borussia drew 2-2 with SV Werder Bremen on Matchday 32 of the Bundesliga. Florian Neuhaus equalised from the penalty spot in injury time.
The German Football League (DFL) confirmed the schedule for matchdays 10 to 16 in the Bundesliga on Friday afternoon. Borussia will play twice each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during that period, as well as one midweek Tuesday night game.
The away meeting with VfL Wolfsburg will take place on Saturday, 15th October at 15:30 CEST. A week later, Borussia host Eintracht Frankfurt in the Topspiel on Saturday, 22nd October at 18:30 CEST. An away match against Union Berlin follows the next Sunday after the clocks go back, kicking off at 15:30 CET on 30th October.
A busy schedule awaits before the Bundesliga begins its over two-month hiatus for the winter World Cup in Qatar. Gladbach take on VfB Stuttgart at home on Friday, 4th November at 20:30 CET, followed by a midweek Tuesday night match away at VfL Bochum at 20:30 CET on 4th November. Just three days later, the Foals play again, this time hosting Borussia Dortmund on Friday, 11th November at 20:30 CET, before the players then either begin their winter break or head to the Middle East. Daniel Farke’s side return to Bundesliga action on Sunday, 22nd January 2023 with a game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen from 17:30 CET at BORUSSIA-PARK.
