Borussia jump up to fifth in the all-time Bundesliga table

With their 5-2 win over 1. FC Köln in the Rhein derby, Gladbach recorded their 750th win in the Bundesliga. The Foals have now overtaken Hamburg SV in the all time table.

The Foals recorded a historic win against 1. FC Köln in the derby. The 5-2 victory was the club’s 750th win in its Bundesliga history. Along with 484 draws, Borussia have now collected a total of 2734 points. In the all-time table, which collates every team’s points, goals scored and goals conceded since the founding of the Bundesliga in 1962, the Foals jumped above Hamburg SV (2733 points) and climbed into fifth place.

Now only FC Bayern Munich (3940), Borussia Dortmund (3024), Werder Bremen (2901), and VfB Stuttgart (2737) are ahead of Borussia in the table. Daniel Farke’s side, therefore, are only three points behind VfL Stuttgart. Jumping up yet another place in the all-time table this season is therefore very much possible. This Saturday, Borussia travel to Wolfsburg for their 1850th Bundesliga game. In the 1849 games up until now, the Foals have scored 3146 goals and only conceded 2690.
