DFB hands Itakura one-game suspension

Ko Itakura will miss the Foals' upcoming Bundesliga match on Saturday away at VfL Bochum. The Japanese defender has been given a one-match ban following his red card against VfB Stuttgart.

The DFB's sports tribunal has handed Ko Itakura a one-match ban due to unsporting behaviour. The centre-back was sent off in the 82nd minute of the Bundesliga meeting away to VfB Stuttgart after pulling back Tiago Tomas in the box as the last man.

Itakura will therefore miss the upcoming top-flight match against VfL Bochum on Saturday (15:30 CEST). He is also suspended for any league matches of the club's other teams until his Bundesliga suspension has been served.
