… his move to Borussia: After my first discussion with the guys in charge, I knew I wanted to move to this club. Borussia is a massive club of tradition, and it’s brilliant fun to be here. The team have welcomed me really well and I’m looking forward to what’s yet to come.
… his role in the team: I definitely want to give it everything every week and, just like every other player here, fight to get into the starting XI. That’s a goal I have set for myself. I’ll give my all, and then see what happens after that.
… his personality: I’m a very positive person, with lots of energy. My dribbling and the fun I have with the ball is what sets me apart, I think. In the last few years I think I’ve also proved that I can be good off the ball, too.

… Borussia’s aims this season: I think it’s still too early to think about goals. Personally, I want to play as much football as I can week by week. … the fans attending the first training session: It was really overwhelming to see 1,500 fans here with the weather at 30 degrees. It was hot out there on the pitch too – I can imagine it was even hotter for the fans on the sidelines in the full sun. It was brilliant for us that despite the heat, everyone was here.
