Elvedi, Lainer and Wöber in provisional Euros squads
The season isn’t over yet for seven Borussia players. Three players have been named in their respective countries’ provisional Euros squads, whilst four others are also in international action.
The Foals will face 1. FC Heidenheim in the second round of the DFB-Pokal after Sunday’s draw at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. The tie will be played on either 31st October or 1st November.
Borussia will welcome newly promoted Bundesliga side 1. FC Heidenheim to BORUSSIA-PARK for the second round of the DFB-Pokal. Former Germany national team defender Shkodran Mustafi assisted DFB vice president Peter Frymuth with the draw at that German Football Museum in Dortmund, drawing the 16 ties.
The second-round matches are to be played on Tuesday, 31st October and Wednesday, 1st November, with exact timings to be reveal in the next ten to twelve days.
Borussia sealed their place in the second round with a 7-0 victory over fifth-tier side TuS Bersenbrück, The Foals were eliminated at this stage of the competition last year when they lost 2-1 to SV Darmstadt 98, now of the Bundesliga.
