Nicolas is Borussia’s Player of the Month for February

Moritz Nicolas is Borussia’s Player of the Month for February. The goalkeeper came out on top against his three teammates in the vote presented by “Cichon Personalmanagement”.

Moritz Nicolas has been voted as Borussia’s Player of the Month for February. The shot stopper received around 39% of the votes in the FohlenApp. Robin Hack came second (32%), whilst Nathan Ngoumou (23%) and Nico Elvedi (6%) finished third and fourth respectively.

Nicolas also won the Player of the Month award in January, with the fans acknowledging the goalkeeper’s consistently solid performances for the second month running. The 26-year-old has been a constant fixture in goal for Gladbach since captain Jonas Omlin’s injury and he was an assured presence between the sticks once again last month. For instance, he kept the Foals in the game for a long time away at RB Leipzig (2-0 loss) when he made seven saves, whilst he also kept a clean sheet in the home game against Darmstadt (0-0 draw).
