Germany to play friendly at BORUSSIA-PARK on 7th June as part of EURO preparations

Germany will play a friendly match against Greece at BORUSSIA-PARK on Friday, 7th June at 20:45 CEST as part of their preparations for the EUROs.

In June, BORUSSIA-PARK will host the Germany men’s national team for the ninth time ever. They will face Greece in their final friendly ahead of EURO 2024, which will take place in Germany from 14th June to 14th July, on Friday, 7th June (20:45 CEST). “We’re pleased that we will host the German national side for the ninth time on 7th June, and that they’ll play this friendly ahead of the EUROs against these illustrious opponents at BORUSSIA-PARK,” said Borussia’s chief executive Stephan Schippers.

Germany are playing a friendly at BORUSSIA-PARK ahead of a major tournament for the third time. On 2nd June 2006, they beat Colombia 3-0 and carried on this momentum into the World Cup, where they finished third as hosts. On 1st June 2014, they drew 2-2 with Cameroon in their penultimate friendly ahead of the World Cup in Brazil, where Germany went on to lift the trophy.
