DFL confirms schedule for matchdays 9 to 12

The German Football League (DFL) confirmed the schedule for four further Bundesliga matchdays this afternoon (7/10).

We knew the schedule up to matchday 8, but the DFL has now confirmed the fixtures from matchday 9 to 12. The Foals will feature on a Saturday three times in this period, as well as playing on a Tuesday. The home game against FC Schalke 04 will take place on Saturday 28th November at 18:30 CET. Borussia then play on Saturday at 15:30 CET two weeks in a row: first at SC Freiburg on 5th December before hosting Hertha BSC on 12th December. The away game at Eintracht Frankfurt will take place on Tuesday 15th December at 18:30 CET. The timing of Borussia’s last Bundesliga game of the calendar year against TSG Hoffenheim has not yet been confirmed (18th – 21st December).

Borussia and Frankfurt share the points in a hard-fought encounter

On Matchday 33 of the Bundesliga, Borussia drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their final home game of the season. Eric Dina Ebimbe cancelled out Robin Hack’s early opener.

Borussia say farewell to Jantschke and Herrmann

At the final Bundesliga home game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia officially said farewell to Tony Jantschke and Patrick Herrmann, who will both retire from playing at the end of the season.
