Neuhaus voted Borussia's Player of the Month for November

The votes are in, and Florian Neuhaus has been selected as Borussia’s Player of the Month for November. The midfielder beat out fellow nominees Alassane Plea, Lars Stindl, Christoph Kramer and Breel Embolo.

The competition for November's award was stiff, with all five players having picked up ‘Man of the Match’ nods this past month. In the end, Florian Neuhaus topped the standings with 48 per cent of the vote, ahead of Christoph Kramer (22%), Lars Stindl (15%), Alassane Plea (10%) and Breel Embolo (5%).

Neuhaus is enjoying a real purple patch at the moment, and was named the ‘Man of the Match’ after the 4-1 win over Schalke last time out. He opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and then set up Oscar Wendt to make it 2-1 later in the game (36’). Neuhaus has been a crucial figure in midfield of late, as well as in front of goal. Head coach Marco Rose is pleased to have a player like Neuhaus in the squad, saying “Flo has been playing at a top level for several months.” Neuhaus is remaining humble, despite the praise being heaped on him, saying “I know that I’m doing certain things well, but there are also other things that I’m not doing as well, and that I still need to work on. I’m always open to criticism and try take that feedback into the next game in order to continue to grow.”
