DFB-Pokal tie against Dortmund on Tuesday

The German Football Association (DFB) finalised the timing of the DFB-Pokal quarter-final fixtures on Wednesday. Gladbach will host Borussia Dortmund at 20:45 CET on Tuesday 2nd March.

The fixtures were drawn last Sunday, and the DFB has now announced the specific times of the four ties. The Foals will host Dortmund at BORUSSIA-PARK on Tuesday 2nd March at 20:45 CET.

Gladbach reached the quarterfinals of the DFB-Pokal with strong wins over Regionalliga sides FC Oberneuland (8-0) and SV Elversberg (5-0) before a 2-1 win over VfB Stuttgart in the last 16. BVB beat third-division MSV Duisburg (5-0) in addition to defeating second-division sides Eintracht Braunschweig (2-0) and SC Paderborn (3-2 aet.).

The Foals and Dortmund have already met three times in the DFB-Pokal, with Gladbach coming out on top. The Foals won each of their home games, a 6-1 win in 1987 and a 2-1 win in 2004, each in the second round. However, it was BVB who came out on top the last time the two sides met with a 2-1 victory in the second-round clash in Dortmund.
