Bensebaini voted Borussia's Player of the Month for March

Ramy Bensebaini has been voted as Borussia's Player of the Month for March. The left-back beat out fellow nominees Yann Sommer, Florian Neuhaus and Marcus Thuram to pick up the award, presented by Cichon.

The fans have voted for Ramy Bensebaini as their Player of the Month for March, presented by Cichon. The Algerian left-back received 48 per cent of the vote, beating out goalkeeper Yann Sommer (30%), Marcus Thuram (12%) and Florian Neuhaus (10%).

Bensebaini was selected as Man of the Match in Borussia's narrow 1-0 defeat in the DFB-Pokal quarterfinals. Nearly 45 per cent of fans voted for him as their Man of the Match, a fitting reward for the Algerian, who delivered a hard-running performance on the left sing. Bensebaini covered a lot of ground, entered into several challenges and nearly put the Foals in front shortly after the break. BVB keeper Marvin Hitz was lucky to get a hand to Bensebaini's shot.
