The Foals begin training ahead of the Leipzig game

The Foals kicked off this week of training on Wednesday morning as the focus turns to Saturday’s away match against RB Leipzig (15:30 CET).

Borussia travel to RB Leipzig this weekend for matchday 15 of the Bundesliga (15:30 CET). Training ahead of the game began on Wednesday morning for the Foals with an 80-minute session at BORUSSIA-PARK led by Adi Hütter. After a warm-up, the team did several tactical drills before a small-sided game to end the session.

Mamadou Doucouré, who had recently been out with an Achilles injury, was able to participate in training. However, Jordan Beyer was still unable to join in – the defender has been out since the end of October with a thigh injury and instead trained individually. Borussia have two further sessions before the trip to Leipzig, comprising of two behind-closed-doors sessions on Thursday and Friday.
