The Foals’ preparations for Sunday’s away game at Borussia Dortmund continued at the training ground on Wednesday morning. As part of a 90-minute training session, Adi Hütter’s side completed a number of different drills. The players also took part in a mini game on a smaller pitch. The injured duo of Lars Stindl and Mamadou Doucouré didn’t train with the team.

The squad has three more days of training this week. The first of those sessions will be tomorrow behind closed doors, before public training again on Friday (10:30 CET) and Saturday. Matchday 23 will see Gladbach visit BVB. “It will be a completely different game to the Augsburg one. Nevertheless, we can build on a number of things from that win,” said coach Adi Hütter. “We will need a really good defensive performance in Dortmund, so that we can play well on the break and get forward quickly.”

The Foals completed a wide range of exercises.
