Timings confirmed for matchdays 28 to 30

The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) have today confirmed the timings for Bundesliga matchdays 28 to 30. Borussia will face Rhine rivals 1. FC Köln at home on Saturday, 16th April (18:30 CEST).

The DFL had previously confirmed the timings up until matchday 27, when the Foals will travel to face VfL Bochum on Friday, 18th March (18:30 CET). Today, the timings for three more matchdays were confirmed, with Borussia playing once on a Saturday afternoon, once on Saturday night and once on Sunday evening. 

Following the international break at the end of March, Borussia will host 1. FSV Mainz 05 on Sunday, 3rd April (17:30 CET). Six days later, they will travel to face SpVgg Greuther Fürth on Saturday, 9th April (15:30 CEST). The Foals will then welcome 1. FC Köln to BORUSSIA-PARK for the derby on Saturday, 16th April (18:30 CEST).

  • Matchday 26: Borussia – Hertha BSC (Ssturday, 12th March, 18:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 27: VfL Bochum – Borussia (Friday, 18th March, 20:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 28: Borussia – 1. FSV Mainz 05 (Sunday, 3rd April, 17:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 28: SpVgg Greuther Fürth – Borussia (Saturday, 9th April, 15:30 CEST)
  • Matchday 30: Borussia – 1. FC Köln (Saturday, 16th April, 18:30 CEST)

Emotional send offs for Jantschke and Herrmann

Any lingering doubts about Borussia not remaining in the Bundesliga next season have dissolved away following the 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt. The match against Frankfurt was also marked by send-offs for Tony Jantschke and Patrick Herrmann.

Borussia and Frankfurt share the points in a hard-fought encounter

On Matchday 33 of the Bundesliga, Borussia drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their final home game of the season. Eric Dina Ebimbe cancelled out Robin Hack’s early opener.
