#TSGBMG: Match reaction
After the Foals’ 4-3 defeat to TSG Hoffenheim, we have the reactions of Robin Hack, Julian Weigl, sporting director Nils Schmadtke and the two head coaches Gerardo Seoane and Pellegrino Matarazzo.
On Friday, the DFL announced the Bundesliga fixtures for the 2022/23 season. The Foals will open the season at home against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on the weekend of 6th/7th August.
The following weekend, Borussia will travel to face newly promoted FC Schalke 04 (12th-14th August), before hosting Hertha BSC (19th-21st August). On matchday 4, the Foals will head to Munich to face defending champions FC Bayern München (26th-28th August).
The first derby of the season against 1. FC Köln will take place at BORUSSIA-PARK on matchday 9 (7th-9th October). The Battle of the Borussias will be on matchday 15, with Dortmund coming to Mönchengladbach (11th-13th November). The season will then head into a 67-day-long winter break due to the World Cup in Qatar (21st November to 18th December).
The campaign will resume on the weekend of 20th-23rd January 2023 with matchday 16, as the Foals host Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The 2022/23 Bundesliga season will end on 27th May 2023 with a home game against FC Augsburg.
