Borussia organise friendlies vs. Viktoria Köln and RKC Waalwijk

Borussia will continue their preparations for the 2022/23 season with two further friendlies: Wednesday July 13th sees them face Viktoria Köln, with a fixture against RKC Waalwijk one week later on July 20th. Both matches will kick off at 18:30 CEST.

The Foals have organised two more friendly matches as part of their pre-season preparations. On Wednesday July 13th (18:30 CEST), they will face third-division side Viktoria Köln at the FohlenPlatz in Mönchengladbach. One week later, Daniel Farke’s side will travel to the IMS Arena in Velbert to face Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk. Ticket information for both games will come in due course.

These two new pre-season tests mean the tally for friendlies now sits at six, with a further two short games against MSV Duisburg and Athletic Bilbao for a mini tournament in Duisburg.

  • Wednesday July 13th: Friendly vs. Viktoria Köln (FohlenPlatz, 18:30)
  • Saturday July 16th: Friendly vs. Standard Liege (14:00)
  • Sunday July 17th: “schauinsland reisen Cup der Traditionen” (Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena, Duisburg, 14:00 – 19:15)
  • Wednesday July 20th: Friendly vs. RKC Waalwijk (IMS Arena, Velbert, 18:30)
  • Saturday July 23rd: Friendly vs. Real Sociedad (BORUSSIA-PARK, 15:30)
  • Sunday July 24th: Season opening at BORUSSIA-PARK (From 11:00)
  • Sunday July 31st: DFB-Pokal round 1 – SV Oberachern vs. Borussia (15:30)
  • Weekend of August 6th-7th: Bundesliga MD1 – Borussia vs. TSG Hoffenheim
