Patrick Herrmann to retire from playing in the summer
Patrick Herrmann will retire from playing in the summer after 16 years at Borussia, including 15 as a member of the first team. The 33-year-old will remain at Gladbach in a non-playing capacity.
New away kit now available
Hours before the Foals’ first Bundesliga away fixture against Schalke 04 on Saturday evening (18:30 CEST), the club has made its away kit for this season available for purchase to all fans.
Borussia’s new away kit has been released alongside kit manufacturer Puma, and Daniel Farke’s side are expected to don the new green strip this evening in the fixture in Gelsenkirchen. The new away kit is now available in the online shop, as well as the FohlenShops at both BORUSSIA-PARK and MINTO.
The replica jersey (sizes range from S to 3XL), which combines 100% recycled polyester with PUMA's advanced dryCell thermoregulation technology, is priced at €84.95. The authentic kit (sizes range from S to 2XL), worn by the players on the pitch and made from Puma Ultraweave, an ultra-light material, is priced at €139.95. The children's jersey (sizes ranging from 128 to 164), which is only available as a replica, costs €64.95.
Optional shirt names will be in white on this kit – matching shorts and socks will also be in green, but these will not be available until next week.
