DFB-Pokal: Borussia to visit Darmstadt on Tuesday, 18th October (20:45 CEST)

The German Football Association has announced the final schedule for the second round of the DFB-Pokal. Gladbach will be visiting SV Darmstadt 98 on Tuesday, 18th October at 20:45 CEST.

After the second round draw for the DFB-Pokal was completed on Sunday evening, the DFB announced the kick-off times and dates for the matches on Wedesnday. The Foals will be heading to the Merck-Stadion on Tuesday, 18th October 2022 at 20:45 CEST, taking on 2. Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt.

The 16 second round games will be played on the 18th and 19th October, and the round of 16 is scheduled to take place on 31st January, and the 1st, 7th and 8th February 2023. The quarter-finals are to be played on the 4th and 5th April 2023; the winners will contest the semi-finals on 2nd and 3rd May. The final, held at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, will be contested on 3rd June 2023.

Borussia progressed to the second round after a 9-1 victory against Oberliga side SV Oberachern, while SV Darmstadt won their first round tie against 3. Liga side FC Ingolstadt 3-0.
