DFB-Pokal quarter-final rescheduled for 12th March

Borussia’s DFB-Pokal quarter-final at 1. FC Saarbrücken has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 12th March (20:30 CET) at the Ludwigsparkstadion.

The game was originally supposed to have been played on Wednesday, 7th February, however referee Florian Badstübner decided to postpone the match after the warm-up due to the heavily waterlogged pitch at the Ludwigsparkstadion.

The DFB, in agreement with the two clubs, have now scheduled the match for Tuesday, 12th March (20:30 CET). “It’s good that the DFB have found a new date so quickly. Now we just need the Ludwigsparkstadion pitch to be ready for that date,” said Roland Virkus, board member for sport at Borussia.

The draw will be made on Saturday night for the semi-finals, with Saarbrücken and Borussia both in the hat.
