Gladbach right-back Joe Scally and goalkeeping coach Fabian Otte emerged victorious in the final of the CONCACAF Nations League. The Stars and Stripes triumped 2-0 over Mexico to win the competition for a third successive time, following their titles in 2021 and 2023. Scally was on the bench for the duration of Sunday’s game, and had one of the best seats in the house for former Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams’ screamer to put the Americans in front (45’). In the second half, Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna – currently on loan at Nottingham Forest – made it 2-0 with a volley (63’). Reyna was also named player of the tournament.
