Facts ahead of the game against FC Oberneuland

All the important facts and information surrounding the DFB-Pokal first tie at BORUSSIA-PARK against FC Oberneuland (15:30 CEST).

Crowd

  • Due to the strict hygiene guidelines because of the coronavirus pandemic, both clubs agreed to move to the game to BORUSSIA-Park. “These guidelines are a lot harder to implement for amateur clubs. Moving the game has reduced the organisation we would have to have done,” explained Oberneuland’s vice-president Uwe Piehl.
  • Due to the current corona regulations, only 300 fans are allowed to attend Saturday’s game. The tickets will not go on general sale.
  • Fans will only be allowed to enter the ground while wearing a face mask. A plastic or glass visor is not permitted as an alternative.

Miscellaneous

  • The Foals’ Champions League kit will bear the logo of DeGiro, a part of the flatex group since 30th July. According to UEFA regulations, this shirt has to have been worn at least once before the Champions League in a competitive match, so Borussia will have DeGiro on their shirts instead of flatex on Saturday.
