DFL schedule Bundesliga matchdays 19 to 23

The German Football League (DFL) confirmed the schedule for five more Bundesliga matchdays on Thursday afternoon. Both the derby against 1. FC Köln and the heavyweight clash against RB Leipzig will be the Saturday evening Topspiel.

The DFL have confirmed the schedule for Bundesliga matchdays 19 to 23. The Foals will play four Saturday games and once on Sunday during that period. Matchday 19 sees Borussia travel to Union Berlin for a traditional Saturday afternoon kick-off on 30th January (15:30 CET). The Rhine derby against 1. FC Köln will take place in the prime-time slot Saturday, 6th February at 18:30 CET. A Valentine's date away at VfL Wolfsburg follows on Sunday, 14th February at 18:00 CET. The home game against 1. FSV Mainz 05 is again at 15:30 CET on Saturday, 20th February, before the Foals travel to RB Leipzig for another Topspiel a week later on Saturday, 27th February (18:30 CET).

Borussia reports second-highest turnover for 2023

During the annual general meeting for club members on Monday, 22nd March, Borussia chief executive Stephan Schippers gave his financial report for 2023. The club’s approximately €199.8 million of turnover is around €22 million more than last year.
